My name is Blake and I’m the owner of Premier TCG. I think it might be impossible to tell you exactly when this business started, I remember buying and selling cards during lunch back in elementary school. Though through the years what I once just viewed as a fun side hobby began to take on a life of its own.

As I grew up I became familiar more with the Japanese card scene. Suddenly it was like I was a kid again, a whole new world of exclusive cards, new promos, and entirely different holo patterns from what I grew up with. I love to work on mastering new sets so it was a cherry on top that these Japanese cards were less expensive, had better hit rates, and did both while still offering a higher print quality than English cards. It wasn’t long after my new passion was found that I embarked on my first trip to Tokyo. That trip was everything I could have ever hoped for minus having a limit to just how much I could stuff into my luggage.

Once I was back in the states though I immediately started to seek out more product at my LGS, but minus a few bulk cards, there was no one selling sealed Japanese product. I turned to eBay and after having been scammed more times than I’d like to admit I decided I was done. I sought out and began building relationships with trustworthy established distributors overseas to help scratch my itch. Soon enough though friends of mine and others I knew from our local Pokémon community were seeking me out as the person who knew how to get boxes from overseas.
